Podgorica, 11.11.2020 – Today, the NGO Montenegro International filed a criminal complaint with the Special State Prosecutor Milivoje Katnić, which has so far been signed by over 890 people.
The report requests the formation of three special investigation teams that will deal with abuses and criminal acts by the competent civil servants, as well as all those who did not act in accordance with the Constitution, Law and procedures, and that they be criminal, misdemeanor in accordance with their official duty. or disciplinary proceedings against the competent state authorities / bodies.
“We are addressing you with a report in the field of organized crime and high corruption because there is reason to suspect that this is an organized group, close to the same canters of interest (external and internal) which for a long time subversively affected the legal order of Montenegro.” which not only influenced its collapse, but also disturbed the public, creating insecurity and endangering the safety of citizens, “the statement reads.
The NGO Montenegro International demands an urgent reaction from the authorities, the initiation of investigative actions and security protection, in accordance with the institute of “cooperating witnesses”, all within the institutions of the system who are ready to speak before the Special State Prosecutor’s Office and present evidence of actions violating the legal order of Montenegro and subversively act on the same.

The SDT report alleges that the competent state authorities endangered the Constitution, the laws stated in the criminal report and internal procedures by knowingly or unknowingly failing to sanction criminal offenses and misdemeanors, causing violation of official duty, constitutionally and legally guaranteed citizens’ rights, which caused legal, health and every other insecurity and fear among the citizens of Montenegro.
